Introduction

1. Polyurethane shoe sole solution

Polyurethane shoe sole solution contains three combinations: polyester (or polyether) polyol mixture (component A), isocyanate prepolymer (component B), and catalyst (component C). When used, add component C and other auxiliary agents to component A in a certain proportion, mix them thoroughly, and then add them to the material A tank of the shoe sole molding machine. After component B is heated and melted, it is directly added to the corresponding material B tank. The optimal ratio can be found on the machine to perform shoe sole molding.

3. Raw material melting method

Components A and B of the polyurethane resin for shoe soles will solidify at 5-30℃, so they must be heated and melted before use. Component C does not solidify and does not need to be melted.
Polyurethane: The temperature of material A is 60-70℃, and the time is 6-8hr; the temperature of material B is 60-70hr, and the time is 6-8hr
Polyether: The temperature of material A is 50-60℃, and the time is 5-6hr; the temperature of material B is 60-70hr, and the time is 6-8hr
Prolonged heating and melting at high temperatures will cause the resin solution to deteriorate, resulting in abnormalities during shoe sole molding or quality problems in the finished shoe soles. Therefore, the melting conditions must be strictly controlled below 70℃ and within 24 hours.
Special materials: Operate according to the instructions.

2. Storage conditions of raw materials

The three components of polyurethane resin for shoe soles should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, protected from water and fire.

4. Mixing method of catalyst ratio

The catalyst and pigment are added to material A in the prescribed amount according to the catalyst formula mixing method. After mixing evenly with a high-speed stirrer (about 3-5 minutes), they are immediately put into the material A tank of the foaming machine and tightly sealed. The amount of material C added must be accurate; adding too much or too little will cause operational difficulties or poor quality.

Notes

  • The matching ratio is based on the optimal ratio, which will vary with the type and amount of added pigments and auxiliaries.
  • The free foam density will vary with the season (temperature, humidity).
  • Demolding time will be extended with the increase in the thickness of the molded product.
  • Flexural test conditions: The bending angle is 90 degrees, and the frequency is 80 times/min*40,000 times.
