The exhibition was jointly organized by Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers Association and Pakistan Leather Association and Raschel Convention and Exhibition Center of Pakistan. Held once a year, the exhibition has been strongly supported by many departments of the Pakistani government, recognized by many people in the leather and shoe industry in Pakistan and South Asia, and highly praised by these people and the major media.
The 2016 exhibition was solemnly held in Lahore International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of more than 15000 square meters. It attracted more than 300 enterprises from dozens of countries, including Pakistan, Spain, Bangladesh, Italy, Russia, Turkey, India, China and Germany, and more than 15000 professional visitors. During the three days of the exhibition, buyers came in an endless stream, which was comparable to the popularity of the Canton Fair, and the exhibitors did not even have time to eat. The Chinese enterprises that participated in this event have made great achievements. Most of them have placed orders in cash on site, which can be said to be fruitful.
Main cargo trading partners: in 2014 / 15 fiscal year, Pakistan's top 10 cargo trading partners were China, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Germany, India and Afghanistan; the top 10 export destinations were the United States, China, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Spain, Italy, Bangladesh and the Netherlands; the top 10 import sources were UAE, China, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Japan, United States, Indonesia, Germany.
